It's here! I can (finally) stop sounding like a broken record, talking about how excited I am to be done with 2012.
This week has an extra day, I decided to just include Monday in with it, since I didn't think Dec 31st needed it's own spread.
And with the end of the year, comes the end of Mile a Day. This challenge was not only great for my running, it was great for my Project Life album! I was super slacker in the photo department towards the end of the year, so these really helped lighten the load and keep it moving.
We have a family tradition of playing Tripoly on Christmas Eve. We're all crazy competitive and it can get pretty intense. I'm also 100% sure that they're all a bunch of cheaters. Next year will be the year I win, I'm sure of it.
The photo on the left is my niece, gnawing on a rib. She did a damn fine job for a 16 month old! On the right is a little bit of writing about my trip to The Road Kill Grill. This was my first trip to a Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives restaurant (I just noticed that I called in Diners, Diners, and Drives in my journaling...oops). Guy Fierri annoys the crap out of me but I just can't stop watching that show. The place was so good. If all the places are that good, I'm going to start working my way through them!
New Year's Eve was more family game time. My dad came over and Becca, Sandy, him, and I all played Yahtzee. I'm so bad at Yahtzee. I can never zero out the Yahtzee spot, so I usually end up losing. It's a pretty common theme, I'm not very good at games!
There's 2012! That's it! That's all she wrote!
Project Life is a scrapbooking project designed to make scrapbooking memories simple and fun. You can find out more about it here. Want to see the rest of my weeks? Just go here.
